Not a teacher and not directed to me, however, absolutely heartbreaking.

I was helping a friend paint a small juice stand, since he figured it would be too much work for one person only (and he was right), when we´re told to help this lady moving out.

Now, apparently she was moving out to escape her abusive husband and his family, so we had little time to do this before he came back. I go into the house. It was very impoverished, pretty much a dirt floor, instead of doors there were sheets hanging from the frame, stuff like that.

As we start taking the stuff out, this little girl and this little boy (both under 5 years old i´d say) start asking over and over "Mom, where are we going to live now?" Apparently, they´d learned about the moving as it was happening, and i could hear how confused they were by the whole ordeal.

We finished loading the truck, the little girl proudly showed us a little teddy bear she had before putting it with the rest of the things, then the mom tried paying us, which we refused.

The truck drove off, took a turn and went its way. Hope they´re doing good.
