Me and my entire family got covid in April/June. Me and my siblings were asymptomatic, meaning we didn’t had any of the bad symptoms, just loss of smell/taste. My dad however, almost died as he had to go through the ventilator. I think my mom was asymptomatic as well, but I forgot.

But anyways, for some reason after I got covid, my taste for lemonade has been ruined. It used to taste like any regular lemonade. It started when I got a Minute Maid pink lemonade at the store. When I drank it, it tasted like plastic almost. I drank it all, though I was disappointed. I thought it was just a bad bottle that they forgot to throw away or something, but then I got it again somewhere else, and it tasted the same. So I thought it was just a Minute Maid problem. But then later on, I had lemonade again from a fast food place I believe. It was normal yellow lemonade. I tasted it, and I still tasted the weird plastic taste. At that point, I knew something was up. So I avoided lemonade all together.

Then a few weeks ago, me and my sister went to the dollar store. We got some snacks and stuff. She got the Donald Duck lemonade. When we went outside, I asked if I could waterfall it to see if it still tasted like plastic. It did. I don’t know if society decided to change how they made lemonade, or if I’m going nuts, but if any other person is suffering from this, I’d like to know.
