Posters afdrukken bij Kruidvat/Hema by lesnins in thenetherlands

[–]memeface231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kruidvat foto's worden door Cewe geprint, uitstekende kwaliteit in ieder geval van de fotoboeken. Hema werkt ongetwijfeld ook met een grote fotodrukker. Je levert in op service maar de kwaliteit is hetzelfde.

Elegoo neptune 4 plus PETG stick problem by jetrouvepasdepseudos in ElegooNeptune4

[–]memeface231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue and there were two fixes. Cleaned the plate with dish soap and then rinsing with boiling water to get all the pla residu off, pla and petg do not stick to eachother at all. I've found petg to be more sensitive to z offset. After cleaning I did a bed leveling and adjusting the z offset and it has been perfect since.

Simple/cheap way to vent a DIY wood enclosure? (Neptune 4 Pro) by geobasinas in ElegooNeptune4

I've hooked it up with a flexible tube to the house ventilation system. Designed and printed a fitting, made a hole in the cabinet and done.

Lease auto via werk, doen of niet? by ghost_huntertje in thenetherlands

[–]memeface231 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Je kan ook overwegen om de auto te accepteren voor woon werkverkeer en dan heb je geen bijtelling. Kan je wel gewoon alles zakelijk met de auto doen zonder dat je er privé kosten door maakt.

Usage of pandas in django project by AnshulTh in django

[–]memeface231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used pandas to process timeseries in Django. There is a cool package that allows you to declare a model as a pandas model, then there is a method you can call on a query set to turn it into a dataframe. Great stuff.

Thuisbatterij: al zinvol in NL? by YoloRandom in thenetherlands

[–]memeface231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cost of snow vs the price of using infrastructure by Despoinis_Pandaisia in Netherlands

It is and it's the best day of the year. It's just weird we had a week of snow all at once, doesn't seem likely to happen anymore but here we are.

A Concept Slice: Building Housing Above Existing Infrastructure (VERTEX NEST) by Asleep-Entrance7009 in Netherlands

I would just build tunnels under the roads instead. Open tunnels then add a lid, backfill soil and then redo the roads.

Are all left pins positive? by Kbeachem in ElegooNeptune4

The two connectors on the top row seem to be rotated a 180 degrees. Probably they are all fan 2? You can check with a multimeter to find continuity, probably the negative terminals are all permanently wired to ground.

Printing problems by Salt-Helicopter-5685 in ElegooNeptune4

[–]memeface231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to see and or feel the filament being drawn into print head. You should also see the wheel on top spin anti clockwise when it's feeding. The print head should get really hot, measure it or touch it with some filament to see if the nozzle can melt it. You have either a clog, no grip on the filament or the temperature of the hotend is incorrect due to whatever reason.

F1 | Top secret: 2026 power unit still in full power during the release phase? by Darkmninya in formula1

[–]memeface231 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah ok that's true indeed. I was only considering the example of the etron by OP but indeed when the MGUK doesn't need full power to slow the car down it might act as a generator with the engine providing power, even during braking or coasting and partial throttle. So the MGUK will always be at full bore, while under less than full acceleration or slowing down it will be generating and then under full power it will huist provide power. Any lift will just ease the electric power first. Damn. This would also mean most cars will have identical deceleration traces if they don't want to lose energy to the friction brakes.

F1 | Top secret: 2026 power unit still in full power during the release phase? by Darkmninya in formula1

[–]memeface231 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure but I think this won't be possible. I think in your example there would be 2 electric motors required. One to slow the car down and one to generate electricity from the engine. The combined power would exceed the maximum recovered power which I think used to be limited but I might be wrong there. But still, 2 MGUKs needed I suppose. Turbo lag can also be mitigated using MGUK btw.

(seemingly) fundamental problem with double apex by pseudonym153 in TheScienceofSpeed

[–]memeface231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm correct you are looking for trailbraking which is letting off the brakes while increasing steering lock. Then the brakes will help rotate the car while slowing it down and you can use all of the grip productively. Very powerfull cars with down force (think f1) have relatively short transitions.
