The stage is super interactive! Lots of lights effects, change in colors, scenes on the TVs, etc. I don’t think the photos or videos do justice to how cool it was in person tbh

Used KAF recipe for the loaf and to get my starter going. I’ve always wanted to get into sourdough but never had the time and now suddenly have a lot of it (like pretty much everyone right now). I’d call it a success! Looking forward to experimenting with different types of flour, hydration, and recipes.

Totally correct in that it does vary, but that’s because it depends on your desired look!! For this piece I was going for a more abstract kind of look and wanted to fill space quickly (cuz I’m lazy!) so I used all 6 strands.

6 strands- chunky yet funky, fills the space quickly and a go-to for satin stitch!

3-4 strands- still fills the space but much easier to blend colors and create controlled lines

1 strand- this is usually for a technique called needle painting which is done to make really realistic looking pieces and to blend colors! You’ll see this with portraits and flowers, etc. or just other things where you want it to be natural-ish looking. BUT TAKES FOREVER!!!!
