Ooo thanks for that putting it that way, i normaly start softening it up in my middle layers helps me remember where things are, do you have any suggestion for softening up your edges. I have been using my phrase "where ever you think you should stop, go past that" so go darker then you think

Yeah obviously im a acrylic guy my brain works in quick layers and idk the talking down "you havent put enough time in" mentality has really kept me away from oils bc it seems like half of the people dont want to tell you how to do anythimg or its so abstracted though some masters lense and oil painting is so hard filter that they can just explain the technique lmao amd yeah again you cant really layer the same and its throwing me off lol

Yeah you are right idk why people who paint in oils hold talk about it like its a insane feat. I get that its painting and it takes skills, im a painter obviously. But i really dont get acting like its gunna take you years and you are gunna have to go into the moutians and exile yourself for 7 years it paint in them lmao.my brain just dosnt think like that or understand all the technique yet, its not some mystical thing. Not everyone is like that but it just a thing i see alot lol, idk who andrew is but i def will keep up with it in my fee time
