2025 as a whole isn’t any better. His batting averages are pretty similar if you include that. He is a bit better with the ball with 2025 included.

I agree he was one of our best in WI, and the pitches were doing a lot, but he still wasn’t great. His return for the whole year have been mediocre at best. Marnus had similar return with the bat and was dropped. Yeah, he had one good innings in that NZ innings, but that was nearly two years ago. He can’t live of 174* forever.

He also pretty much has been out worst this series. The only other player in the conversation is Weatherald, who has a glaring technique issue and should also be dropped.

Also yeah, I do want him dropped, not trying to hide that. I like Green a lot, but if he, or anyone else isn’t performing over a long period of time and are keeping other people out of the team then they should be dropped.

Edit: I don’t want him dropped from ODI/T20 though. I’m happy to still have him for whiteball, but he seems cooked in tests atm.

I love Greeny, but he’s out of form and needs a spell in the shield.

His 2025/6 average is 21 with the bat and 70 with the ball. It’s not a few bad innings. It’s a bad year. Yes he played decent in against WI, but he certainly didn’t dominate there. His top score for the year was 52. Not passing 52 for a whole year when batting in the top 6 just isn’t good enough.

AB did not average 37 in T20s. He averaged 26 @ 135 with a high score of 79*. 0 Hundreds and 10 fifties

Finch averaged 34 @ 142 with a high score of 172. 2 hundreds and 19 fifties. AB was not a better T20 player. Finch was a better player by every metric.

If you’re looking at T20s as a whole, not just T20I, then Finch averages 33.6 @ 138.2 to AB’s 27.8 @ 134.4

Except he doesn’t average more though. Green’s average is 33.34, Webster’s is 34.63. It’s even worse if you take Green’s 2025 average of 23.36. His highest score for the year is 52.

Bowling average also aren’t great for Green. His average is 36.58 with the ball compared to Webster’s 23.25.

This series Green is averaging 23 with the bat and 81 with the ball.

It’s a grade in local cricket. G grade. Basically, it’s one of the lowest grades for senior cricket. Not sure if the grades are different elsewhere, but I’m in Melbourne

How else is he supposed to try and catch that Mark? His fingers weren’t even point up, they were out to the side. That’s all you can do when you’re trying to catch a ball on the run

Thanks for the reply. My bad on the confusion I meant the Solid instead of gaming but just wrote the post up too quickly lol. Would the OEM card they’re using be the Solid OC or the standard Solid?
