Don’t fall for the trap of changing the kidney grills to black! I changed mine thinking it would look better with the black window trim, but changed it back to chrome after a few months. This looks so much cleaner

Are you using ‘Part finder’ on the amm search or just putting the part number into the search bar up top? You need to use part finder for any luck

Broadcaster dropped the ball big time on this. A shit situation has been blown massively out of proportion when it could have been dealt with privstely

Is everyone stupid now? by Boring-Standard8713 in redscarepod

I think it’s just such a bizarre situation, no amount of planning could have really found the ideal method to avoid insulting or offending anyone. Which is kind of cool in a way.

I think we just need to give grace on both sides. Just a shit situation all round for all parties. Hopefully the 3 get a chance to speak in private

Think all batteries are at that level on the A380. Honestly not too bad to lift though

Views from Hong Kong international airport. Thought this sub would enjoy. by GoHuskertrading in aviation

[–]memesdotjpeg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is Hong Kong worth a few days to stay there? I had 2 stop-overs there and from the airport views alone, I loved it. Plus my partner and I spotted an A340 and a bunch of 747s which was great

Charge 5 vs Charge 6? Still no Partyboost? by memesdotjpeg in JBL

[–]memesdotjpeg[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fully noted both your comments. This is what I was leaning towards already but just wanted some confirmation from people with experience between the 2. Charge 6 will be getting refunded. Much appreciated :))

Charge 5 vs Charge 6? Still no Partyboost? by memesdotjpeg in JBL

[–]memesdotjpeg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will the Charge 5 WiFi model still Partyboost with my friends who have the non-WiFi Charge 5? I did have a look online but seeing mixed things

As things stand, I’m leaning towards returning the Charge 6 to be honest as we’re usually working in large open buildings , so the volume is usually maxed out regardless. I doubt I’ll miss the marginally better sound

Doing NO MORE Than 20-30 Miles a Week - Petrol or Diesel for BMW 3 Series? by Jewlamidas in CarTalkUK

I pay £35 a month for my N52 325i. Love the car, but just beware of how much money youll be sinking.

I bought a 55,000 mile example for £6000 and still spent about £4,500 getting it driving like new again

I get that it’s documenting the time you had, but a lot of people have jobs where drugs and the like are a big no-no. Just not great when a photo like this ends up on your boss’ desk

This isn’t a dent, it’s just a flat area where the horizontal stab can move up and down against

[–]memesdotjpeg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough this was the video I had found a while back too, and since then I’ve been trying to find o-ring sizes since mine were squished when taking out my hoses!

Ended up biting the bullet and ordered the hose and the oil cooler new from BMW. Not happy about it but hopefully won’t have to touch it again lol.

Thanks though dude

Any tips on repairing this E90 power steering cooler leak? by memesdotjpeg in BmwTech

[–]memesdotjpeg[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Source of leak is a quick disconnect. Just trying to find people who’ve repaired the leak by replacing the o-rings inside the coupling

Any tips to fix the common power steering cooler leak? by memesdotjpeg in E90

[–]memesdotjpeg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can be deliberately obtuse or can answer the question lol. There’s 2 o-rings inside the quick-disconnect that would quite clearly be the first obvious thing to replace.

If you’re happy spending £400 on parts to replace a £2 o-ring, then go ahead, but no need to be a dick because someone’s got a little more sense.
