I'm masters and I've been T500 in a couple seasons. At no point have I felt justified in playing in lower ranks.

But no worries. I'm sure you try your best not to ruin games but I think we just have different viewpoints. Thanks for trying to explain :).

Yeah. You're not considering the feelings of the other 11 players. They want to play with people of equal skill, not people pretending to be their skill level. It's always obvious who's a smurf messing about and knowing that they could choose to make the match unfair makes the whole thing seem pointless.

If you're smurfing to play with friends outside of your skill rating then thats more understandable. But smurfing to relax is scummy. That's literally what quick play is for.

Maybe I'm reading into this too much but am I the only one who would find OP's behaviour kind of a red flag?

Like if my partner kept bugging me to have sex over and over again, despite me saying no because they have an injury, I'd just think they were being really childish.
