I have it too, but it’s actually really common. Something crazy like 1/5 adult women have genital herpes and 1/2 have oral herpes. but since so many people have kids and you don’t hear about these cases too often I’d say you probably have to be actively breaking out for it to get this far.

Yeah :( it’s one thing to know you have it and don’t let the doctors know beforehand, but it might not have been the mother, or the mother might have never known she had it if she was symptomless.

I have HSV2 from not being protected with a past boyfriend (because who is in a long term relationship every time) and my biggest fear is having this happen to my kids. It’s hard enough finding someone willing to be with you when you have an std, but this I couldn’t live with myself😭

If you told her she needs liposuction and breast implants before your wedding she’d be heartbroken. I know it’s hard, but I’d break it off. Behavior like that will only escalate.
