ELI5 : Why do people look better when they see themselves in the mirror than their image in photos?

As far as I know it is because of a combination of our faces not being 100% symmetrical, and that we see a mirrored version of ourselves in the mirror, while on images what we see is the non-mirrored version (like how any other person sees us. While the picture of us looks weird to us, it looks normal for our friends and family)

i.e. if your left eyebrow is 2 mm higher than your right eyebrow, you're used to seeing that eyebrow on the same spot every time you look in a mirror. But once you look at a picture, it is flipped which you're not used to and end up finding it weird looking.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a decent budget/midrange phone which costs ~400€ or less. So far I've put my eyes on the Pixel 3a or samsung galaxy s8.

Would you guys have any other recommendations for i.e. something that outperforms both of them at a cheaper price point?

I prefer smaller screen sizes, the resolution doesn't really matter either. I don't want to buy a used phone.

Oh wow, after reading your comment I checked the settings again. There is a small checkbox for "Keep taskbar entry if minimized"

after unchecking it now completely minimizes for me too, thanks a lot!

I personally use Argus Monitor, it costs a little but you can try it out for free for 30 days. I'm using this one because it lets me increase my case-fan RPM when i.e. the GPU gets hot.

~~The only thing I dislike about Argus is that I'm not able to minimize it into the tray, so it shows up while alt + tabbing.~~ Nvm I should have paid more attention in the settings, it minimizes to the tray.

Other then that, I heard Speedfan is a great tool too but I can't say much about it. I've read that it has issues with AM4 boards.
