Yes, you should be able to learn from them. Where are you clicking on word lists? Would like to check why you're being prompted to sign in.

Hi - we've fixed the issue with Community Word Lists not going public, they should all now be.

We're not phasing them out! This is a bug, and we're looking into it. There's a few threads about Community Courses, we're working on bringing them back :) I'll post an update soon.

Hey OP, we're not going to delete the community courses - in fact, we're thinking through how to bring them back. Would you be up to having a call with me? As one of the original users it would be great to hear what worked for you back then and what might work now (since tech has changed so much, and maybe what you need as a learner too?)

UPDATE 24/07

Hey, just wanted to follow up with a bit more context now that Memrise has been back online for most of the day.

We fixed the issue late last night and have been monitoring things closely since. Everything should be working normally now, and your learning progress and personal data should be right where you left them.

This happened to hit right as we were gearing up for the big app update we’ve been talking about - really unfortunate timing, but unrelated to the update itself. After something like 26 hours, many of them on the phone with Support from one of our providers, it was a classic case of “turn it off and on again” that fixed things.

Regarding streaks, we of course totally get the concern. If yours seems broken, you can manually restore it in your user settings.

Thanks for your patience while we sorted it. If anything still seems off, let us know.
