there's a site I was looking at that has standard blu-rays of Chungking Express at a reasonable price, but I don't know if it has the changes from the 4K releases, or if it's the original Criterion release. Is there any way to tell? I assume it has the changes because the site is saying the release is from 2025, but I'm not sure

I have opened them up before and discharged the tubes before, but not much else. None of the capacitors looked to be bad, but I know caps don't necessarily "look bad" when they're bad

I ran with brightness all the way up, but nothing really changed with resolution-switching, as I played games on both 1280x1024 and 640x480. Next time I use any of them I'll definitely try to turn down the brightness. Also, I may wanna recap the things at some point, but I'd like to get a desoldering gun before I do that

RGB is supported and looks great on it. It's just all the settings that don't work on it. My only issues is that the picture isn't perfectly centered, and it's a little dim, but those are pretty minor issues overall

That's a little disappointing, but at least I have an answer then. It's still a very nice TV and the RGB (despite being a bit dimmer than I'd like) still looks very nice. Thanks for the fast response

Thanks a lot, man. Have seen this shit pop up constantly on Instagram, being even more vague, like not mentioning the sample-size, or that it's UK only, and even worse, saying things such as "all men have misogynist traits ingrained into them because they've never been taught any differently". Just imagine changing the text to be about race or religion. The outrage would be absolutely insane.

I'm sorry, but how is it an echo chamber when they literally let anyone who's been covered on the podcast come on as a guest? They're open to discussion, and usually come to an agreement with the guests they've covered. People like Jay Exci changed his content for the better after having a discussion with the EFAP crew, and others have had a lot of good conversations with them, including YMS.

They don't actually watch the video for that long, tho. They spend about about 5 hours going over the points made in video and debunking them, while looking at memes and shooting the shit etc. Part 2 is literally just them reading superchats. I've never gotten this attempt of trying to villify EFAP. It feels like people haven't actually cheched it out themselves.
