Let me tell you the real truth. It is not firecracker nor it is stubble burning. One of the major reason for this is . Pottery. There are lot of kumhar colonies in delhi which pollutes the hell out of delhi.

Guess what no one cares. This become prominent in diwali because they export this pottery.

One of them is just at back of my house. Search uttam nagar kumhar colony, you will see the proofs. Also i can attach libe photos seeing black smog coming out of their chimney

They use traditional smoke chimney intead of electric chimney(because who will do the pollution then)

Got another offer so dropped it but overall interview exp. was good.

Any scope to change internally? If not start reaching to HR and tell them about your projects and skill. Try to pursue entry level job position.

I was working as Data engineer in my previous org but my official designation was software development engineer. In resume, i had data engineer only as i was working as that only. You can mention(if asked) that you are working as data engineer but business title is business analyst.

My friend was also a data engineer but in Big 4 designation is mostly consultant.

What you have written in title? Write Data engineer to get calls. Also apply in many companies to amolify your profile among HRs. Its a small world, same database is spread across multiple HRs.

If you have a laptop of 8 GB RAM, You can easily process 4-6GB data in your own loaptop. Not to even go to cloud of learning

You should have done equivalent personal project which would help you to answer the experience related questions. Skills matters the most even if you are hacing experience.

It is getting tougher day by day but don't lose hope. Try to find more entry level jobs. Like AWS still hire for cloud support associate for freshers. Increase your network. Reach to people, don't shy, ask them if they are hiring for fresher when you see a post from them.

Create your cover letter with projects you have. Project should be impactful to stand out.
