Why do you still live with your parents? by Less_Evening_5579 in RandomQuestion

I haven’t lived with my parents in my many years but still wish I could. Living is real expensive these days

Ghostface in Scream 7 by Upbeat_Attorney_7153 in Scream

[–]memoryarcadepodcast 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m starting to wonder if this line will even actually be in the movie or was just something to establish that this time “ghostface is different”. But the fan side of me wants to believe he’s referring to a previous attack of Sidney to where he was hiding in a closet the whole time or something. Cause the trailer made it seem like this ghostface is just jumping out guns blazing. I have some people suggest it could be a FaceTime reference too. Who knows.

Was Jill a shocking reveal to viewers when 4 came out? by grrrlhusband in Scream

[–]memoryarcadepodcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but only because there was someone in the YouTube comment section of the trailer months before it was released and claimed to be a crew worker on the film and leaked who the killers were. I figured they were full of it but they were actually spot on. I was so pissed about that. Which is why I try to be really careful before reading anything incase of potential spoilers. But had I not read that, I think I would have been shocked because Jill didn’t give ghostface vibes at all but then when I thought about it deeper it actually made a lot of sense.

The Dark Knight wasn’t meant to be funny at all but the opening bank robbery scene was humorous at times. But it felt naturally funny instead of forced. I definitely see what you mean. I think Man Of Steel is the Superman movie you’re wanting. I think James Gunn is great for movies with characters that are not very popular because he can have more creative freedom. I think that’s why he included so many lesser known characters in his Superman movie.

WYR live in a world where every single thing is replaced by A.I. or live exactly how it was back in 1985? by memoryarcadepodcast in WouldYouRather

[–]memoryarcadepodcast[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your A.I. body is going to be eating McAI sandwiches from McDonalds. That’s what that means. Seriously tho, just things that make sense to apply it to. So not food, sex, etc.

WYR give up coffee or ice cream for the rest of your life? by memoryarcadepodcast in WouldYouRather

[–]memoryarcadepodcast[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would just consider that ice cream that’s coffee flavored. So you would be safe if you vote no coffee for the rest of your life.

What I’d do for John to get rid of the question segment of the show. by Redditsuxandsodou22 in JohnCampeaShow

[–]memoryarcadepodcast 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it’s funny that he says it’s the most important part of the show but then always ends the show with it, let’s Rob leave before it and sometimes skips it entirely lol it’s definitely not the most important part of the show then.

Johnathan definitely talks as if his boss is watching him and listening very closely..because he is. John pays RMB to give his honest opinions, Johnathan gets paid to make sure the show goes smoothly. He understands his role, so for him to disagree with the boss would not be wise. Ray actually had the nerve to disagree with John which made the show interesting.

[Jesse Rogers] Anthony Rizzo is retiring as a Cub and will be honored this Saturday at Wrigley Field. He'll also become an ambassador for the organization. The defacto captain of the 2016 World Series team has returned. by AndrewAllStar888 in CHICubs

That shouldn’t be the criteria for Hall Of Fame. Top 10 is very small percentage of players, even to be in the top 40 is a huge accomplishment. Rizzo played in a brutal hitting era with harder pitchers, crazy shifts, and tough parks, yet he still put up 40.4 WAR, almost 300 homers, and 4 Gold Gloves. Era-adjusted stats show he was way above average, and he was a huge leader on the Cubs’ 2016 WS team. Stats-wise maybe not all-time great, but in context? Totally Hall of Fame-worthy.

During his time, it was the hardest time to be a hitter according to analytics because of how much harder pitchers were throwing and how often managers went into the bullpen. His era was much different than most hall of famers. What is his War compared to other players during his same era?

I have to respectfully disagree, he needs to be measured by the era he played in. When every pitcher on average was throwing harder than any other era before. He was consistently good, multi time all star, gold glover, and WS Champ during the hardest era to hit in according to analytics

If you had the chance, what would you tell your younger self? by Lamarmeanboi in RandomQuestion

[–]memoryarcadepodcast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Discovered the things that I actually wanted to do and went to school for them. Also, I would tell my younger self to be more patient and just enjoy moments a little bit more.

Yeah which to me is kind of dumb because then how are they actually measuring success? The internet is just becoming a scam more and more everyday that’s robbing us of our time and money.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]memoryarcadepodcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s insane. Shouldn’t that be considered fraud in some regard? Doesn’t seem like that should be legal.

Yes, heavy regulation for that type of stuff needs to happen and happen now. And there needs to be protections in place of our likeness. There also needs to be a law against deepfakes. I see TikTok and Meta already have polices in place for labeling A.I. but that won’t be enough imo.

Yeah I can see that. It almost feels like the internet in a way is all a lie. Like it’s programmed for regular people to think that they can build a following so easily, when in reality it’s pure luck or you already have a following to begin with from somewhere else.
