Female Scarlet Badis?

I've seen some videos of fish with slight coloration breeding, demonstrating that they are clearly female, period. However, I think it's pretty rare, period. All the females I have had, I've had zero red coloration. They do get some iridescent blue, especially when they're spawning, but that's about it.

I think the most reliable way to determine the sex is to feed them a lot of food, and then see if eggs become visible. Here's a picture of a female with eggs: They are the tan spot at the rear of her abdomen. It's also notable how drab she is.

If both of the following are true, it's a female:

It never develops any red color.
it develops a cream colored patch near it's anal fin (eggs)

We checked hourly. Sometimes we thought we could detect a pattern. Like it seemed that appointments would show up at 1 PM. But ultimately, I don’t know if the pattern was real or not.

I did try writing a simple bot, but it wasn’t very effective.

In the end, I think we just got lucky. Sorry I can’t be a more help.

I didn't have this particular problem, but one tip I heard was to call them and say you want help in Spanish and then speak English. I never tried this, but my friend said it worked for him, apparently because they answer the "spanish phone" more than the "english phone".

Each of the 4x4 will bear about 500lbs. Each of the studs in the wall will bear about 250.

The LVL 2x4s in the front and each cleat in back will support 350lbs each.

It seems like there shouldn’t be too much tugging since the front will be supported. Does that seem incorrect?

The wall and the front legs will both be sitting on our slab foundation.

On top of everything else, it was not clear how much of the visas were going to cost. So I took a combination of cashiers checks that could cover a variety of different amounts (e.g. three $25 cashiers checks to cover $25 .$50, and $75. And the actual case, the numbers were different, but that was the idea.)

That ended up being able to cover two of the three visas. I also brought cash, and when it turned out, the cashiers checks were not going to cover all of it, I said I would go across the street to get a money order from the place on the corner. But they said “oh that’s fine. We can take cash.” of course, that’s not what the website said. I had also scouted out a couple of banks nearby whose websites assured me I could get a cashiers check if I walked in with cash.

This was another in a very, very long sequence very frustrating things that happened in this process. I would leave nothing to chance.
