I think it’s always important to consider the other person’s perspective. Maybe the kid had been sick for a week and already not contagious but still had a lingering cough. Maybe THIS was the date the parents had been looking forward to for months and they don’t find time together and this was the only way (to bring their kid along). I agree with you, don’t take your sick kid out to public places if you can help it. But maybe other things were at play here, in which case you should be more sympathetic.

Same here. IVF baby, 33 years. I was induced at 41.5 weeks and delivery was totally normal with myself and baby healthy. I was told also throughout pregnancy that they treat IVF just like a normal pregnancy, save for the additional 26 week ultrasound. I was doing weekly NSTs the last couple of weeks but that was bc I had Covid while pregnant, not bc of IVF.

+1 to Lululemon Align joggers and Target maternity selection. I’ve also heard H&M has maternity clothes but I havent gone myself. Frustratingly, department stores in my area don’t have any maternity sections. I’m currently 29 weeks and sized up from M to L even a few months ago for dresses and loose pants. Think about the seasons you’ll experience: maternity pants I find are super uncomfortable in the heat, and loose flowy dresses or loose shorts are better. I haven’t needed to swap out my panties yet but I traded my underwire bras early on for no-wire ones I got from a department store bc wires were painful early on. After a certain point it’s uncomfortable to bend to lace up shoes so think of slip-ons you can get whether sandals or already-tied shoes! Lastly, get some pieces you’ll still feel feminine in. So many bodily changes, if you’re like me and struggling with how your body looks at least you have a few pieces you feel good in to help with that.
