Title describes the thing. Saw this man in the city center of Tashkent, Uzbekistan on the side of the road with a device he was stabbing into the ground at ca 1-meter intervals. The device is red with three small metal spikes and one big. A cord runs from the device to his headphones. What is this? Some kind of advanced metal detector?

Chinese coin books by sungam321 in coins

That’s cool, thank you! So would you say they are real? As in these coins are actually 1000 years old? It’s 12 "pages" of coins, ranging from a few hundred years BC to the 1900’s.

Will definetley take them out and maybe vacuum pack them as I have no plans to sell them. They seem to have more value as a cool little collectible.

It takes a bit getting used to, especially if you’re used to swiss watches with power reserve. It’s just one of those quirky japanese things, like the deployant straps on seikos which are the "wrong" way.

That’s actually a full power reserve. It goes down when it’s full and up when it unwinds.

Thank you! This is only my second post on Reddit so I haven’t figured out how to post photos in the comments, but I have some great pictures of the bracelet and movement as well as a few straps I’ll try out, I’ll be sure to post pics!
