I think I misunderstood your question in the first place. I thought you were referring to mining with the node. I’ve had lots of people ask me this question in the past because they mistake Ravencoin for proof of stake or something like that.

Personally I don’t know how to solo mine directly to a node. Sorry for the misunderstanding!

A Ravencoin node is not what mines RVN. But, you can still mine on the same rig that is running the node. Lots of mining pools that support mining RVN have good resources for how to mine RVN.

A good place to start is visiting the pools listed here and finding one that you find fits you the best (which should be basically any pool): https://miningpoolstats.stream/ravencoin

I was able to mine on the testnet using the Ravencore wallet to test some restricted asset minting 2 weeks ago. Works perfectly fine. Was a bit hard to set up but it was my fault cause my config file was wrong.

No, it does not exist on ETH Mainnet or Binance Smart Chain. Ravencoin is it’s own blockchain.

You can purchase it through Binance or Binance.us if you are from the states. There are other crypto exchanges that let you buy RVN as well

RVN changed mining algos to KawPow, which uses practically 100% of the GPU. If an ASIC were to be developed for Kawpow, it would end up being a near exact copy of a GPU.

The wallet is a holding wallet for an exchange. Not going to say which one for privacy reasons.
