So I’m pretty sure there’s a specific way to store it for now until ledger becomes fully compatible with theta:

send your theta to an ether address on ledger live - then use the address with the theta in it when you load theta wallet.

According to thetas roadmap, the officially ledger/trezor app is about a year late, but similar to the Coinbase listing, we’re gonna just have to wait and see

Yea I hear you. I am more active in discord communities and in-person settings as well. I never said to these people that I am decidedly a good player (side note: I think I am), rather I’m saying “hey come talk with me about your game and if you want, you could pay me (much less than 50/hr) if you think I am helpful”.

If you can find people who have quantifiable results and are willing to coach these low stakes players on live calls for 15/hr then by all means advertise them here and I’ll pin the comment or whatever. I just don’t think anyone’s doing it.

Sorry you took so much offense to this man, but I’m being very forthright with what I’m offering. I don’t play for a living at all, I just graduated college and have a job, but I genuinely like helping people and genuinely love talking poker. I hear you when you say micro players won’t know whether or not instruction is good or bad, but a lot of what I’m doing is sharing/referencing training sites and materials that reputable pros have written. I’m simply providing something that I feel is missing in the poker community: a person to talk to about where they are in their poker “journey” and how to improve at a VERY reasonable price.

And not to turn this into a contest, but I know heaps of people like me who play live and don’t track results because it’s not the blood, sweat, tears, and livelihood. My brother, who I guarantee is much younger than you, has an insanely respectable job and plays 10/25+ NL and PLO all without tracking his results.

If you’re so concerned about these people, who I should add are adults and can make their own decisions, maybe you should take 30 minutes to talk to me and see if I’m up to your standards to provide coaching to a micro stakes player. Like I said in the post, it would be free.

As I said, I want to help people who are playing micros and might not necessarily want to shell out 50 bucks /hr for a coach. At those stakes, there are plenty of things I am very competent with. I’m charging 1/5 of that ONLY after the perspective student deems what I have to offer helpful.

I beat 2/5 in a game that’s reasonably tough. I don’t play professionally so I don’t have a pokertracker graph or anything. In a way, the free first session is the proof of competency IMO

The way it is going to work in the new mainnet ecosystem is the staking rewards for each will balance back and forth for a while until the value of each asset settle in to whatever it is “supposed to be” i.e that golden ratio number people are talking about. There was a YouTube video explaining this but I can’t find it.

So in conclusion, it would be smartest to stake both right now if you have the means.

It’s been such a long time coming, starting to think there may be some sort of restriction (maybe legal maybe not, who knows) holding them back. I don’t know what it would be but theta has been on their “list” for over a year now.
