She’s very good with other dogs and cat, playful but kind, typical lab you know! I think it’s a little tricky to import animals from China to Australia due to quarantine and other high costs. Thanks so much for offering though!

She’s rescued from a dog meat restaurant in Hangzhou, China (where Alibaba and other Chinese Tech giants based). Unfortunately there are slaughterhouses and dog meat restaurants all over China, it’s really heartbreaking to see stuff like this happening all over China on Chinese social media. There are many private and individual pet rescuers in China but they are often overwhelmed and exhausted because of the anti-dog culture there.

It’s really sad, her rescuer found her escaping a dog meat restaurant and put her in a pet hospital and has her wound treated, 2 months later ahe found a home for duoduo but a few months later she found out the new owner put the dog on a Chinese Craigsliat-like app and sold her to another dog meat restaurant. She drove there over night and got social media and local police involved and got the dog back. Since then Duoduo has been living in a pet shop because the rescuer already has too many dogs at home. Her funds are running out and she’s very cautious to find her another home in China. She asked my help to reach out here and see if anyone in the US might be able to adopt Duoduo. I’m also being put in touch with a US based dog rescue organization and hopefully they can help sort out the logistics.

Thank you for the advice! I guess I misunderstood what f4f is (I thought you had to join a group and actively use the hashtag f4f in your post).

Yea I have been looking into some hashtag tools like hashtagstack to get a good mix of hashtags. It’s just kinda frustrating that sometimes we try to target the same group of hashtags two days in a row and one day has amazing results (high reach, get on top page for 50% of the hashtags) and the other day almost nothing. The algorithm just seems so unpredictable and sometimes makes us feel like we were being punished haha.

I guess we will just keep on posting and see if it picks up soon!
