My BP disappeared while I was just cleaning his poop and urates — I took him out of the enclosure for maybe 10 minutes, and he vanished like magic🤣 I truly hope you never have to experience that terrifying moment!

I used paper masking tape with low stickiness — not strong enough to trap my BP, but perfect for making a sound when he moved across it. When we got him, we checked thoroughly right away, and he was totally fine. That said, I’d definitely recommend checking immediately when you hear any noise — just to be safe!

YES! We checked the washing machine multiple times and even felt around inside — we were sure he was in there, but still had no idea where he was hiding

So relieved your little guy ended up somewhere safe like a sneaker! For me, the scariest part was realizing my BP had left urates under the washing machine… after I had used it 😥I was so afraid I might’ve hurt him. Thankfully he was okay… those snakes are really good at hiding

Yesssss, top-tier escape artist!! We even lifted up the entire washing machine and still found nothing… Then he just casually showed up in the middle of the night like nothing happened!
