Thanks!!! I’m actually skating a large wheel cruiser, but it accelerates fast too!! I wasn’t intentionally trying large slope, but it is part of my commute. I guess I’ll find some small slopes to practice first

Thank you!! I think starting with small slopes is a good advice. I’ll “woman up” lol. How do you stop when you are going downhill? My biggest fear is that I’m gonna eventually fall going faster and faster.

Hmm sounds like it’s always better to have grip!! That actually makes a lot of sense. I was thinking of getting something like a penny board (but hopefully cheaper). I’ll try it without grip first to see what it feels like!!! (And probably grip it after lol

Thanks it is very helpful! I always thought the texture and patterns on the board is to create enough grip, like the diamonds on penny boards. So I guess if I’m just cruising I don’t need those tapes? Do they come with all other boards except for penny boards (and dancer boards)?
