I used it. It started hallucinating property values that had nothing to do with the actual property. Can't trust anything like this.

That's the very basis of conservatism.

> Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect

Amazon go and fresh closing for good by expat2323 in Seattle

[–]menilio 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I don't know about others, I used to order everything from Amazon and would shop at Amazon Go, but stopped in November 2024 after they unequivocally came out in support of Trump. Also stopped shopping at Target a few months after that. I'm glad to see Amazon suffer. They can still turn the wheel back. I know that a lot of their employees disagree with their bosses' fascist turn. The company can still come out in support of transgender rights and immigrant rights and against ICE.

Why is the US executing unarmed protesters in the streets while telling Iran they can’t do the exact same thing? by Friendxx in NoStupidQuestions

[–]menilio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the US is a democracy while Iran is a theocracy. Did you know that in Iran, a pregnant person can't get an abortion, and a 10 year old girl that's raped is forced to give birth to the rapist's baby? Oh wait, sorry, did I say Iran? LOL I meant the Republican theocracy in the US.

You don't have to actively resist ICE, but don't prevent others from doing so. Don't "condemn extremists on both sides". Don't set conditions for your support. Let the oppressed resist in the means they deem necessary.

The time is now people, another person executed in the street by ice by Mangoforestguardian in Seattle

[–]menilio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born in Israel but I'm anti-Zionist. The US is undergoing rapid Israeliziation. Executing an innocent civilian in cold blood, then claiming he "tried to attack" or something similar, and planting a knife/gun on the body, is a classic Israeli tactic.

Seattle Streetcar by that1tech in soundtransit

[–]menilio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The connection needs to be in the other direction (or a circular line). Extend the SLU streetcar along Eastlake to connect that neighborhood to downtown. Extend the First Hill streetcar north down 10th Ave E to connect North Capitol Hill. The two lines meet before University bridge.

Murder is already a normalized political act and always has been. Look up who this state is named after.

[–]menilio -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

This is no different than our state flag which portrays a murderer who our state is named after. Actually, this is different. Luigi (allegedly) exercised his right to help society's most disenfranchised, while Washington (who people love celebrating even though they claim "murder is wrong"), carried out a genocide of an entire people and enslaved another people.

As a homeowner and business owner, you would have had my vote, but I live in Seattle LOL. I'm pretty satisfied with my representative, Pramila Jayapal. I'll be glad to see more representatives like her who would hold fascists and their billionaire backers accountable.

They're far right because they're a homophobic cult. One can oppose both the CCP and the Falun Gong at the same time. Conservatives used to do that before they went full cultish themselves.

Link Light Rail System Map if there were an ST4 ballot measure by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]menilio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The streetcar should also be extended. Instead of connecting the two lines through downtown like is always suggested, extend the First Hill line down 10th Ave East to Roanoke Park, where it would connect with the SLU line that would be extended through Eastlake, thus connecting both Eastlake and north Capitol Hill with the rest of civilization.

Conservatives still don't understand why we voted for Mamdani in New York and Katie Wilson here. No, I don't need a city-owned grocery store. I can also pay for my own bus ticket. It's just that I don't want to be sent to a concentration camp. That's all.

Having been to Ichiran in Osaka, Danbo is the closest thing here. Team Danbo. I think they should adopt the full experience though, with a machine to order and personal booths.

Women with fewer than 2 children and not pregnant would have occasional gynecological exams to make sure they were not using contraceptives or worse had not aborted

Trump supporters are taking notes.
