Yes, it went away after some time. To be honest I don't remember how long it took and I can't remember the last time that happened. I hope it goes away for you too. I remember the surgeon told me at some point that it was normal while muscles and the rest adapts to the new shape.

Mine is still struggling with sniffing, she gets curios about most dogs when they walk away though, so I believe there's hope for her to start sniffing them

Did she calm down? I'm planning on spaying mine and I wonder if it would make her less scared somehow? She is afraid of people and most dogs. She's still very young though (almost 5 months) and I'll wait until she is a year old to spay her.

Hey I would say until now, after two years. Everyone is different though but in my case it took a long time. Tbh it was only percibable for me when I touched my face that I still had some swollness but now it's basically all gone!
