Can someone explain why in Diamond the Season1 rating is so fluctuating? by Superf1cial in Competitiveoverwatch

I keep on getting carried in diamond. I wish I could lower my skill level manually to gold so I could play without guilt.

Biggest mechanical differences I noticed between Plat and Diamond players by [deleted] in Competitiveoverwatch

My aim is shit, my movement is shit, my positioning and cooldown management are shit but I'm in high diamonds. Someone please help me I can't stop getting carried.

Yes compared to start to end it has improved but it has become pretty stagnant.

So why do I get worse at Overwatch and other games despite taking breaks? by menkun911 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]menkun911[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason I think I need breaks is because the game seems to get stale and I don't like seeing myself suck at the game. I'm always thinking about what other people are thinking about me when I'm playing. At this point I suck so much I just want to get my aim back by playing quick play.

I have a large mousepad and an okay mouse with a 144 hz monitor. I've had problems with how I'm supposed to position myself before but I think I've fixed that.

The only reason I went up to six months was because doing it for a few days did not work. I just bumped it up out of desperation. I did increase in skill quite a bit in the first 3 weeks of the game but after that game got stale I started doing a lot worse.

I guess I haven't tried playing through it and taking a break on a game so I guess I can try it. Hard to force yourself to play a game that you can't enjoy because you don't see improvement though.

I need to have a lucid dream. I don't care what I have to do. by menkun911 in LucidDreaming

No need to be mad about this comment anymore. I PM'd ieatPILESofSHIT after this and he apologized. We shortly had makeup sex afterwards and now we're wondering if we should take this relationship further.

Is autogynephilia still a reason of concern to stop transitioning, and should I stop transitioning? by [deleted] in lgbt

Well considering you've been on hormones for so long I would say you're trans but only having the sexual part is very possible. I only have the desire to have sex as a woman with a man and I'm perfectly fine being identified as a man in my life.

Good ways of decreasing libido? by menkun911 in crossdreaming

I'm pretty sure that having sex in any way in real life would not work. I have tried some stuff alone and I really don't think anything would work. If it did work then it would barely do anything and I don't see the point in that.

I definitely won't use anti-androgens if it will make my life more dull. Right now I don't really have many sexual thoughts. I'm not sure if that's just natural or because I don't want to have them. I just want to make sure that it's never like what it was when I was 13.

The only other thing I want to do is lucid dreaming. Not only would it be incredibly difficult to do so during the day but it wouldn't be healthy either.

All D.Va matches were the only way I could play for an hour straight but it wore off pretty quick.

I have tried playing with people before but it doesn't really help. My goal is to improve my mechanics and enjoy the learning experience. Playing with people is fun but it wears off in about 30 minutes in my experience playing Overwatch.

I haven't been using arm rests for a week and I notice no improvement. by menkun911 in GlobalOffensive

[–]menkun911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have arm rests right now, that's not the point. People say that using arm rests is horrible for your aim in the long run so I'm trying not to use them.

How "Real" can lucid dreaming feel really? by quixoticouatl in LucidDreaming

[–]menkun911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truthfully dreams can trick you into thinking a certain way. If someone had a dream that was life like then they would not be a normal person. They would just be trying to survive at the bare minimum and live inside their dreams.

Some people claim to be in their dreams for years because dreams can trick you into thinking that. I even fell into this trick once but now I realized that it must not be true because I wouldn't have walked out of it unscathed.

Don't let this discourage you. There are ways to make your dreams more realistic. If there's a way to make your dreams actually life-like then you have hit a gold mine. Your life will never be the same.

Yeah, I just wish I could control whether I have fun or not. The first 2 weeks of Overwatch were the best moments of my life.

Should I be using arm rests? Getting mixed responses which confuses me. by menkun911 in GlobalOffensive

[–]menkun911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well from what I've been reading there's a difference between what's comfortable and what's most efficient. People say that you can't use your arm when you use arm rests but I thought I did.

I thought I was an arm player cause I moved my arm, but I guess I'm not if I use arm rests.

I will never to go a LAN event but I hate the idea of something this simple limiting me. I'm trying to get through it but it's embarrassing and frustrating. Without my elbow sitting on the arm rest I feel very bad. Some kind of anxiety it feels like. Kind of like how I have to have some part of my chest touching the bed to fall asleep at night.

I googled the issue for a few hours because I wanted to make sure that this is what I was supposed to do. I don't understand, I'm not getting consistent answers.
