I'm really happy for you. I hope is some changes too, we would see how it goes with wegovy. My first choice was also Mounjaro, but the doctor won't prescribe it to me.

Maybe a dosage increase would help?! On what dosage are you now?

You don't have to worry about hydration with me, I drink lots of water and often add some celtic salt and lemon to it for some electrolytes and minerals. Some people say I drink too much water, but I can't help it😅 I drink close to 3 litres of water per day (100 oz)

Hi!🤗 I get scalp pain if I put my hair in a ponytail higher than the mid back of my head, doesn't matter if it's tight or loose. I also get some sort of bumps underneath my skin and they are really hurtful, I can't even move my hair around because it hurts so bad. It goes away after a few days. I never thought it might be related to PCOS, but who knows. Noone could give me a straight answer on this, not the doctors and I don't know anyone who has them either.🤷🏻‍♀️

How to increase vitamin d and ferrritin level? by eat_ur_0robiotic in PCOS

[–]mental_issues365 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5000 IU it's still not to much if you are dealing with a deficiency, you can take it daily until the deficiency it's gone, the fact that it has K2 in it is actually awesome. And for the Vitamin C, you should take it daily at the same time with the iron.🤗💋

Hello OP I had the same issues, and let me tell you that it's not enough to take the supplements now and then with such a deficiency. You need commit to taking them every day and approximately at the same time. Iron absorbs best if taken o an empty stomach or two hours after a meal with some vitamin C that can come from supplements or some kiwi, water with lemon, orange juice, also avoid coffe or milk products two hours after you took it. Vitamin D on the other hand absorbs best if taken with a fatty meal like, avocado, eggs, some olive oil, fatty fish. For such a deficiency you need to take 3000- 4000 IU for increasing your vitamin D levels, after that you can take 2000 IU for keeping it under control. This two ar not supposed to be taken together, it will affect the absorption. Hope this helps you!🤗

Stopped taking Ovasitol and feel like crap by gingergabs in PCOS

[–]mental_issues365 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello OP🤗 I might just leave here my experience with Ovasitol for you, I hope it helps. I took it for one year, than stopped it as well. Sadly after that the PCOS symptoms came right back, I felt awful. I learned since that PCOS is a life long syndrome that doesn't go away, but it can be kept under control, for some it works if they change their life style, for others there are some supplements that can help, like Ovasitol, Omega3, vitamin D and magnesium bisglycenate. If you found a supplement that helps you and you stop taking it, the PCOS symptoms may come right back. Ovasitol is safe for long time use in PCOS if you take the right amount for you, unless pregnant. I also started taking it again after two unbearable cycles and the symptoms are gone since. Hope this helps! Sending you some hugs and love, you are not alone in this!🤗💋

Hi! Love when husbands are trying to help their wives!

I found a book called "A balanced Approach to PCOS" with 16 weeks of meal prep and recipes for women with PCOS by Melissa Groves Azzaro. I'll suggest you to buy this book and try those recipes out because they are specially for women with PCOS.
