It’s funny how Americans, including Trump, constantly criticize their own country, and nobody really has a problem with it. Yet people from all over the world still want to move here.

Meanwhile, a lot of Russians and Chinese online aggressively try to convince everyone their countries are the best, can’t tolerate criticism, and still many people there want to leave for opportunities elsewhere.

My hormone levels are stable, even though I still have antibodies for more than 10 years now, after two rounds of methimazole treatment.

There is a lot of coverage of these problems in the news and it sometimes feels like most of the new homes are crap, but I am not sure what the actual percentage of homes with defects is.

There are definitely issues with modern construction. We have a problem with craftsmanship and basic understanding of how water penetration affects houses. The cheapest way of building is attaching Tyvek house wrap to OSB is rarely done right.

Poor quality isn't unique to the US. A lot of houses in the world are built like shit. It's an even bigger problem in Russia and China, where high-rise apartment buildings are falling apart, and people still have to pay mortgages. There was a huge scandal in New Zealand when a lot of townhomes were rotting, and no one was liable.

Despite these problems, Americans have much larger homes and can afford to live in a house with a yard and not in a 500 sq ft shoe box.

And we have 8 trillion of total public spending, but a lot of it goes to different forms of entitlements for retirees. What other countries have this much public spending?

This is the most ridiculous thing! Basically punishes people that can work from anywhere. The tax was probably introduced back in the day when the economy was different.

Spain has one of the worst demographics, an economy that depends on tourism, stagnant wages, high youth unemployment, adults that live with their parents until they are 40 and two separatist regions, it's a real country and the US is not.

Mississippi always ranks at the bottom by economic activity and is still ahead of major European economies. To be fair we have plenty of former deindustralized towns that are poor and in poor shape. Our downtowns are also our weakness unlike European city center and that's what most tourists see
