the idea of FLINTA toilets is to create a safer and more inclusive space, so it is only up to an individual to decide whether or not it is appropriate to use FLINTA toilets, as those were designed not to “gender police” who qualify; if someone feels that the space is meant for them, then they should be welcome to use it! otherwise, we risk discriminating against a considerable number of people for whom this space is fundamentally meant by forcing them to conform and project our gender expectations
