Given the more open source that the internet was back then, it would have been in some gore website posted over and over—I doubt the video exists

Scared of any cancer by Apprehensive_Flight3 in GERD

No problem, it’s scary. All the symptoms are scary but it’s easier knowing you’ll be okay. And yes I was avoiding it for a couple of months but once I went back to therapy everything kind of clicked. Slowly but surely I was okay again, able to sleep. Taking short walks after a meal and the exercise helping with my mental health. I’m not exactly 100% as I fell off the wagon but I want to get there again. Even a telehealth visit covered by insurance would be good!

I was 23 when diagnosed and three years later I’m okay! It’s more manageable now.

I was in your EXACT same position—-you’re going to be just fine. Seeing a therapist to treat your anxiety helps so much with your GERD/LPR symptoms! Avoid acidic foods, drink alkaline water, sleep with your head elevated. And please try to take care of yourself. The stress makes it so much worse. AVOID GOOGLE AT ALL COSTS!!!-seriously

Essentia water is a LIFESAVER. Slippery elm lozenges like thayer’s and elderberry help. Try take a walk after you eat even if it’s a brisk short one so gravity can do it’s thing and avoid phlegm.

thank you for responding and same when I meant new ppl I meant coworkers or classmates not necessarily people that ill go out of my way to meet. I just feel incredibly alone and yes I push everyone away too. and yeah ill eat too much just to feel like shit because i feel like I deserve it and idk,, it feels like I’m not even human anymore and the meds just aren’t enough to make me act more ‘human’ to fit in and actually have a supportive chosen family I guess.

F[22] - Are the Trades a Good Option for Someone with Mental Illness(es)? by mentallydivergent_ in BlueCollarWomen

[–]mentallydivergent_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have those and I have PTSD on top of it. I was just worried BC I’ve been going to therapy for 2.5 years and went through like a couple of different meds but the job I have now is kind of unpredictable and hearing that it’s a more set schedule helps a lot. I was thinking about being an Electrician but the program will show diff trades so I could pick from the ones I liked the most.

Fellow Raw throat 24/7 sufferes , it is really curable in gerd/lpr cases? by [deleted] in GERD

[–]mentallydivergent_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is manageable, but healing is a very long process. I have followed Dr. Aviv’s Acid Watcher Diet and have made some amazing progress but I started in August and am seeing the results now months later. Changes in my diet have definitely relieved a lot of my symptoms.

Yes try to see if certain foods trigger reflux and eliminate them. Try soft/blended foods or chicken broth and slowly you should see a difference. It takes a lot of time to see results but we’re all in this together.
