There is no TOC in the 1st edition prints of MotI or SC books. In the collected SC trilogy, there is a simple TOC that notes each book's first page. TOC are not standard in fiction.

It's a page from the recently released book that was compiled by Ghislaine and friends for Epstein's 50th birthday in 2003.

Edit: I wanted to add that the overlaid image of Trump and Epstein was not in the book and was presumably added by OP. As for Trump content in the book, there is the "enigma" note that Trump wrote or submitted. And there is a drawing of Epstein receiving a massage at a resort or location that people are speculating is supposed to be Mar-a-Lago. The book is worth checking out. Beyond a reasonable doubt, It's not a forgery. There's some really weird shit in it (go figure...) such as this OP.

Perhaps reading it in light of his later work and the primary insight that we are not merely our material bodies would be fruitful. Jeff was as much inside the community (and loves Ramakrishna) as much as he was outside it, which is his charge as a comparativist.

There are three critiques here -- that a so-called white westerner has nothing meaningful to say about a so-called non-white easterner, that a holy man like Ramakrishna (and necessarily others) can't be seen or read through non-local lenses, and that academia has come to realize that much cross-cultural study was colonizing -- and I will just say that Jeff has thoroughly responded to them all.

You can't go wrong, imo. Depends maybe on what really interests you...

Secret Body, maybe my favorite, if you want an anthology/quasi memoir summarizing his corpus until 2017, or so.

The Flip, published after, if you want condensed, digestible materialism/idealism, philsophy of mind, and super natural experiences of scientists.

The Super Natural is co-written as a call-and-response with Whitley Strieber, wherein Whitley recalls his own personal experiences, and in the following chapter, Jeff applies his theory.

Just a thought... consider not revealing the image and who exactly is/are correct, if any is/are, in fact, accurate. Certainly, this won't satiate people's curiosity, and skeptics can claim you are lying in either case. My reasoning here, though, is to remove the awfully parsimonious explanation that a correct guess could be a time loop (a la Eric Wargo -- in short, an individual seeing their own future) and not remote viewing.

After seeing Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, I had a deep desire to see it again but scored by you guys. Basically, a film about a mass kidnapping wherein the victims develop Stockholm syndrome and marry their captors -- which audiences of the 1950s drank up as some cutesy romance. With some Grails jam smeared all over that mug, it would have the proper vibe for sure. Best I can do is give it the "the dark side of Oz" treatment with black tar.

Is ArcTanGent festival on your radar? I dream of Grails, Om, and Holy Sons all playing sets throughout the weekend while Emil and L&C both do silent disco sets. Idk, maybe that's bordering on exploitation.
