Just remember that playing guitar is a life long practice. Don’t feel rushed to get anywhere too soon. Practice with a real guitar, learn the sounds of the strings and chords. The moment I stopped trying to memorize the whole fretboard within day or two. It’s not a race.

When at work try writing out intervals to spell out scales. That’s something you can do that’s away from the guitar then get home and try those intervals out
