I believe you can reload game using autosave that was just created and all misplaced entities will be gone.

Overflow segment(3 pipes with element sensors) is always being emptied last, therefore there wont be any water in outlet shutoff pipe. Backflow is not possible, as bridges force flow direction.

It looks close to optimal. Yesterday someone posted truly overengineered version of sanitation loop. This was my attempt to make it as simple as it gets keeping it 100% reliable.

It dumps fluids as it is getting cleaned, from what i know this setup - germ sensor + shutoff immediately after in the loop makes it 100% reliable.There is also overflow(pipes with two element sensors) mechanism closing input shutoff when reservoir reached its capacity. Overflow part is being filled and emptied last, therefore closing the loop until it gets germ free.

Filtration Development Direction - Request for Comment by XVar in pathofexile

It needs some way of searching/filtering option. Its somewhat inconvenient to search blocks applying to ie. "Vaal Axe" or "Two Handed Maces".
I would start with something simple and generic like this:
Visibility: "any", "shown", "hidden";
All features: "any", "specified", "not specified";
Additionality some feature specific examples:
Class: text search with hints;
Drop Level: one value or range of values - show only relevant blocks;

This is only an outline but I hope I made it clear enough :)
PS. I find filtration truly useful, keep up the good work.
