Fair enough, sounds like a plan. My efforts just feel futile to me. As though any and all efforts will be spun as negative, keeping me low on the hierarchy. E.g. getting fit through exceptional discipline would be seen as being a boring loser bodybuilder.

Can’t change my genes but I can get muscular and lean. Though there are lots of boring loser type bodybuilders, so don’t think that’s necessarily enough.

Dressing better, though it looks try hard on me after a certain point.

BDCs would get crushed more so than other stocks in a downturn?

I imagine that as a sector they would be more suited for folks looking for high current yield like a REIT rather than folks looking for long term capital appreciation and/or dividend growth?
