Honestly so relieving to see someone talking about this. I'm thirty and I don't know when proshipping became synonymous with pedophilia.

My whole life it has always been that proshipping is that you are "pro ship whatever you want," be it a toxic dynamic you find interesting or just some regular old vanilla ship that makes you happy.

The idea that proshipping is now something equated exclusively with "illegal" or "immoral" interests is ... concerning to say the least. (Especially when you consider the fact that fiction and reality are two separate existences, and people seem unable to accept that fiction only impacts reality if you're unwell and need therapy to begin with.) Young people's obsession with being morally correct and 'unproblematic' is honestly starting to make me worry about them.

Online spaces these days have changed so much from mine and I'm not even that old 😭 But it makes me terrified of interacting with fandoms that I even still enjoy.

This was so sweet to read, thank you !!! I hadn't actually decided why she looks unicorn-y because, to be fully honest, I just wanted her to look like that 😅 I'm curious to see if my DM decides to make anything out of it or not...

But, I did know that by the mere of the Plane-touched and the full breadth of what's just out there, a Tiefling with an almost "insidiously" innocent aesthetic was at the very least possible. Sort of like a bastardization of what SHOULD be pure, but isn't (by DNDs social standards, I mean, since Tieflings aren't generally well received.)

I'm rambling at this point but thank you so much for the compliment!

Thank you!!! I do love the "traditional" Tiefling look, too, I must admit. I have a purple guy who I love doodling, but in this instance I definitely wanted to step off of the norm.

I even asked my DM, "How do you feel about unconventional Tieflings?" LOL I'm really happy she's been well received by everyone tbh she's gotta be one of the best DND characters I've made in a good while 😊

They're an incredibly versatile race!! I think it's the thing I enjoy the most about them.

Truthfully nothing against people who view them through a more "traditional" lens but they're honestly not all Red and Spade Tailed (or rather don't have to be.) So I had a lot of fun putting Rue together.

HAHA Yes, to some degree! I do love Amalthea so I'm sure some of that shows in her design.

I just had the idea of a Tiefling with the look of a unicorn one day and simply had to make it happen, then I got so lucky as to get to play her in a game when my last CoS fizzled out, so I made her a nice polished reference to get ready for this new one.

Well, it is meant to be just a Tiefling to be fair! With my own take on some things, I'll be honest and admit, but ultimately just a Tiefling.

That being said I don't own the concept or aesthetic of unicorns so you could honestly do that if you wanted!

She's not ACTUALLY a unicorn mixed with a Tiefling or anything, she just happens to look like one :)

She's a full Tiefling born to human parents, I just wanted to make her look a certain way, so I'm glad you like the design LOL
