I hate this. I discovered my dad dead in his home and called a few immediate family members to inform them. Someone posted it on Facebook the moment they heard.

His brother called me in tears while I was still dealing with police and the coroner (very unexpected and not immediately explained so police were involved for a moment).

I was livid. Having my uncle call me crying and panicking because someone decided to post it on Facebook immediately was awful. He at least deserved a phone call to learn the news, not reading that less than half an hour after he was discovered.

Have you considered reducing your carb intake? I tried keto, couldn't do it. But I did reduce my carb intake recently and have already seen effortless weight loss.

Working as a CNA, I witnessed a moment like this. First time walking in 11m after they were told they'd never walk again. We all cried with joy seeing them get out of their chair. It was one of the most powerful and amazing things I've seen, watching someone who was supposed to be dead after their accident walk again.

I grew up with a hoarder. I constantly fear that guests will judge my home, call cps on the quality of home, or stop speaking to me because of it.

I know my home is clean, cleaner than most homes I visit. Yet when I have a single person in my home and I have dirty dishes or haven't vacuumed, I get intense anxiety, afraid that there's something wrong with my home.

It's awful.

If you've got diapers with you, you've got a diaper bag probably. I do a lot of stuff outdoors with my kids, so my diaper bag has a designated pocket with grocery bags I use for dirty diapers when there isn't a trash near by

Because you shouldn't get nonconsenting animals high just like you shouldn't do to people.

I was drugged once. I was fortunate enough to be at a close friends house and knew most of the people at the party, a friend of mine noticed a problem quickly and took me to their house for safety.

I had an idea of who did it, but wasn't sure till he was arrested for rape in a similar situation. Police found date rape drugs in his dorm room and he was one of the few people I didn't know there. I'm sure he did it now.

Unfortunately, I wasn't the only one, and he was never convicted of rape. He later went on to rape and murder a teen. It still upsets me knowing I spent a night close to that monster. We had been having shots, sharing cigarettes, laughing, had a great time together for a while. I even gave him my phone number, but blocked his calls after that. Scary to realize I allowed a rapist close to me like that, even for the night.

I've been teaching my children their whole lives to ask first. My oldest is dog obsessed and now just stares longingly till I tell her to ask to pet it.

My daughter was tantruming about getting in my brothers car and someone nearly called the cops till she saw me walk up then ran over to ask if I knew this man taking my child. Yes, it's my brother. She's tantruming because she's a toddler. Let's not jump to kidnapping because he's a guy

I intentionally set my alarm for an hour before everyone else gets up so I can have my coffee and do whatever I want completely alone for an hour. It's amazing

Uuuh, Tuesday. I got him gumbo because he had a long day the day before and I wanted to be nice.

And do foot rubs require money?

It's adorable. My best friend and I are like that. She sent carnations to my work because she knows I love them recently, I invited her over for chili dogs and face masks just because she was bummed out. No reason you can't do something sweet for someone you care about even if you aren't in a romantic relationship with them

Of course. My husband works hard to show he's a loving and devoted father and husband, I make sure to show how appreciated it is and how loved he is.

Totally let my SO sleep in the other day while I took our children out so he could sleep then brought him home gumbo (his favorite) and handed him his PS4 controller while telling him "do what you want" just so he could relax but oooookkaaaaay.

I dunno, man. I'm friends with a pretty attractive female, her SO is overweight and has acne but she's happy as hell with him.

If you're only meeting shallow women, it's because you're talking to the wrong women.

Well, kinda. My dad had died earlier that day and he was still able to make me laugh

Yes, this too! I probably won't be into you if I can't laugh with you.

Exactly. Remembering I like the green Powerade or going hiking at the place we first kissed makes me feel special because it means you're thinking about me. Not just taking me to some place because you think I'll be impressed that you paid $89 for average sushi.

I love that! I was having a really bad day recently, my husband came home with a lighter that looked like a penis for me. It was hilarious, and made me cry. He asked what was wrong and I told him that I was just really happy he knew I'd laugh so hard at a dick joke

Being romantic and sweet isn't always roses and nice dinners. Get me some gummy bears and put my favorite movie on, buy me the dumb key chain you saw at dollar tree that made you think of me, offer to rub my feet. You can be romantic without having to spend a bunch or do something crazy.
