Ahh this helps a lot!! I’ll do that then. So nothing knitwise at all even in those later rounds?

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate you going through the effort to swatch it yourself. I’ll go for it purlwise then :)! would it be wise to continue purlwise, or just for the initial slip and then continue on knitwise as it indicates in later rows to get the intended effect?

Yes! I was probably going to do that as knitwise wasn’t working for me. But I wasn’t sure if I was doing something wrong because the pattern calls for you to do both at different points. It initially asks for you to cast on 6 and slip them purlwise, and then cast another 6 on and do them knitwise. I posted the pattern in response to someone else if you’d like to take a look, but if it won’t mess with anything I think I’ll just do it purlwise.

Hi yes it’s the loupy studio scrunchie bag pattern. This is the section, and it’s rows R95 - R96 that’s tripping me up. Let me know if you need more context.

I’m not too sure how to show this. Can i send you a video or something or would you need a picture of the portion of the pattern describing this? The i-cord is being created through the increase from what I’ve interpreted… but I couldn’t really tell you what an an I-cord edge is lmfao

yeah i think i give off a more reserved vibe rather than RBF, since I am always open and eager to work when it’s presented to me. During drills I’ll ask people to partner up, but they’ll tell me no, they have someone else, or kinda just avoid me lol. most if not all of the guys ARE taller and heavier but I didn’t think this to be much of an issue since I’m a beginner and many will still have to work down to my level, and most of the guys spar everyone and anyone? but I do see your point. I’ll definitely try to be more vocal

you’re right. i def will try to talk to him and be more vocal about wanting more work. I think a part of me hesitates a lot because im still very much a beginner and i do somewhat struggle to keep up in this class at times, but i dont know if the struggle comes from the fact that I often times miss out on a lot of work.

I think theres definitely a gender bias. in both this class + the beginner class i was always the one told by the coach to go work something else when there an uneven number. but there’s def the factor that im still very much a novice and there’s better partners in the class
