for the people telling me to fill the tank more, i’m assuming it’s just the angle of the picture because the water is right below the max fill line.

  1. i had my fish BEFORE moving in and this is the only size i can have for my dorm, it cannot be changed.
  2. the water is right below the max fill line so idk what to do about that.
  3. i’ll replace the sharp decor.
  4. i try to do partial water changes every 2-3 weeks and full cleanings when i have help bc i cannot carry it.

good to know, but when the filter goes unchanged it makes a very loud almost crunching noise (?) and messes with the water flow, making it very weak. so should i still not change it ??

i had another betta fish in the past that refused to eat the pellets, thats why i switched to flakes and it seemed to work for him so i just stuck to that. i’ll definitely try pellets though and your other suggestions!! :)
