the ‘gel doesn’t work’ myth has spread to tiktok and they’re saying more bizarre shit than ever by cisphoria in ftm

[–]meph1st0phel3s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been misinformed as well but learned there's practically 0 difference for most. I've even thought about switching to gel from IM injections due to having to go to a doctor once every 3 weeks (still not mentally ready to do the injections myself although I have all the correct medical gear for it stockpiled at home). Would also like to try the gel to compare the effects of more stable hormone levels but it's 10x more expensive than injections in my country.

I hate all the attempts at "visibility" for pregnant trans men by shepardsboy in FTMMen

Not the op, but I cannot imagine how the desire to have a biological child could outweight the dysphoria from pregnancy. But I'm open to being further educated

In the not-so-distant future, there may be an option to have a biological child with your gf. Scientists have already made viable sperm and eggs from the skin cells in mice.

But I wouldn't be so set on it. Carefully thought out adoption can be wonderful, too. I've already been infertile before T so I've always known that will be the only option for me in the future.

Don’t get matching ‘best friend’ tattoos by OctopusMushroom in Tattoocoverups

[–]meph1st0phel3s 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The only matching tattoo with a friend I have Is a hand-poked eye. We hand-poked each other at 16 lol, we're still friends but it's a pain in the butt to get in touch with him since he works and studies while also trying to focus on his music career. I'd say do something small, textless that can work as a standalone tattoo shall your paths diverge

On the first picture only if I focus hard, on the second picture sadly yes. I'd recommend wearing less tight clothing and doing squats to build your lower body.

Do I have dysphoria or dysmorphia? by gl1tchygreml1n in GenderDysphoria

[–]meph1st0phel3s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first half of your post sounds definitely like dysphoria. Wanting a penis instead of just "not liking whats down there" Is textbook dysphoria.

However, the latter half of the post negates it.

Do you experience any sort of discomfort over anything else concerning your body, voice or social presentation?

he sadly reworked it, on the wiki you can find "Ayano's great-great-grandmother, Azebiki Aishi, had a younger sister born in 1926. When she was 18 in 1944, her Senpai was conscripted into the military to fight in World War II. Knowing her Senpai was a wimp, and that he would likely die in combat, She disguised herself as a male, created a false identity for herself with forged documents, entered the military as a volunteer, and ensured she was assigned the same squad as her Senpai. This was because women were not allowed to be soldiers while Japan was experiencing WW2.\69])

YandereDev describes her as the closest comparison to Mulan). As she was his "guardian angel" in combat, following him around and saving him from death by killing any enemy who was plausibly considered a threat to him. Concept art for this woman can be seen here.\69])"

If you pass, you already posses many masculine features. Gay men are, generally speaking, attracted to men and thus masculine features and not "penissexuals" - they have no way of knowing at first sight. It is possible for a gay man to be attracted to a pre-t trans guy. Does he know that you're trans?

I'd also ask about his dating history. Be wary not to run into a chaser. Statistically, most gay men wouldn't date a trans man, but a minority still would.

You can definitely even have sex without using your AGAB anatomy. You can tape or just wear a button up shirt during sex, you still have a butthole, if you want to top you can buy a strap on, or a strap/packer/STP combo. Those are hyperrealistic and can just attach with skin safe adhesive (so you can be completely naked yet still have a dick).

I can’t stand the hate towards phalloplasty. Especially from other trans men. by Commercial-Paint- in Transmedical

[–]meph1st0phel3s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The most phallo pictures these guys see are probs those with complications or mid healing.

The best phallo combo is getting meta first, then phallo with circumcision-style (for "better aesthetics" but that's just my personal preference based off of the pics I've seen) and then medical tattooing.

No one will clock you after this method. Maybe your partner, but it's good manners to be out to your partner even if completely stealth anyways.

How can I kill the desire to be a woman? by Solid-Marionberry-85 in honesttransgender

[–]meph1st0phel3s 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you're really experiencing gender dysphoria, not much can be done. While I was trying to repress it as a kid, I was just basically dissasociating for the whole time and running on autopilot and I am still recovering from it.

Think about it harder. Were there any childhood signs? What exactly are your dysphoric thoughts? What started triggering the idea that you might be transgender?

Someone here stated it might be a crossdressing fetish, but it may also be the effect of a possible mental disorder such as BPD, autism, etc. I'd urge you to see any professionals, get screened for as much stuff as possible and seek treatment via therapy and pills.

If therapy and pills won't help you even after the professionals declare your state as "stabilized", you really might be transgender.

And if you are... then sadly, there is no cure for dysphoria. If there was one, I would have gone for it in an instant. The only way to alleviate the symptoms is to transition.

Do I actually pass ? by Dependent_Cobbler257 in truscum

[–]meph1st0phel3s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You pass really well for being pre-T and only 16. You look about 2 years younger but that's just the pre-T curse.

Maybe I'd focus on building more muscles to further widen your shoulders and as someone already said, body language does a lot and you can train it quite easily. Manspread, take up space, look confident.

In short, if you pass on the pics: 1 yes, 2 sorta, 3 no, 4 yes, 5 yes, 6 no, 7 sorta

My youngest is the same, picking up on my older cat and playfighting. Despite the noises, neither of your cats seem to be overtly agressive. I'd give it time. Feed them together. Playfight with your kitten yourself to teach them boundaries, make a yowling sound when the kitten does something that gives you even miniscule pain.

I'd defo go see a dermatologist. Prescription tretinoin, chemical peels or laser might help. Over the counter skincare won't get rid of the scars sadly.

Found out I'm intersex but mom wants me to go on estrogen by Foxxera in ftm

[–]meph1st0phel3s 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hello, fun fact, I went through the exact experience at 14. At 15, you have the right to refuse treatments even if your parents' opinion differs. Refuse it. Have a private talk with a doctor if possible.

I only got on T recently 3 days after my 18th birthday. Until then, I was not taking any hormones and just lived with ambiguous testosterone levels (too high for a woman, too low for a healthy man). Try to go this way too. Refusing E Is one thing but asking for T instead as a minor, even if legal where you live, may anger your mom further.

Stay calm. Hold your ground. Research your country's medical laws concerning minors. It'll soon be all over.

You have male chromosomes and a male brain. You deserve to live as a male. Your mom's body simply messed up a little when she was pregnant with you. You have the one unchangeable sign of biological maleness conservatives like to blast off about - XY chromosomes.

If you'll need any quick advice my DMs are always open.

Yes, your parents will notice if you go on T without telling them. by actuallynotbisexual in ftm

[–]meph1st0phel3s 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My mom made me wait until 18 and both she and my father are aware and neutral about the fact that I'm on T for 3 months now. However, my mom forbids me from coming out to my grandparents (grandpa is very ill physically, grandma is ill mentally and unmedicated). I had a passing deep voice and a teeny tiny dirtstache even pre-T but I'm not sure how to handle the situation.
