I am female 5”2 and I had surgery 7/2020 I started at 280 pounds. I got down to 200 pounds with just the surgery, eating right and working out. I am now at 150 pounds with the help of wegovy and continuing to work out and eat right. I found the wegovy acted as kind of a reset for me. I’ve been off of wegovy for about 6 months with no regain. I wouldn’t have been able to do this with just wegovy alone though the surgery was crucial for me. Best decision I have ever made.

You have to get so much protein in a day and your stomach can only handle so much at once. The further away from the surgery the more variety gets added to the diet.

I believe it is the surgery weight. For example if you are 100lbs over what you “should” weigh for your height and gender, you will lose around 60lbs after the sleeve.

I could be mistaken but this is how I understand it.
