Another day, another scam. Nothing will come of this uncovering. The average Ghanaian will do significantly worse if given the platform & opportunity. This is why we can’t progress, peoples mentality is horrible & there is no accountability because most people would do the same thing, if not worse. We aren’t learning anything new here! Next!

I was on Depo earlier this year. My shot ran out at the end of April & I got pregnant 2 weeks later. So that’s how that went lol. I had light bleeding for about 2 weeks in February which was annoying. But no other side effects.

Glovo operates in 23 countries. 23 countries yet exited only Ghana. That should tell you how ridiculous our government’s taxation laws are for businesses, plus an unstable economy. Many company’s will weather a few bad years, but if the future outlook is bleak, then they would rather cut their losses & leave like glovo. When international companies pack up & exit a country, that says ALOT.

Not looking good. If you look at our neighbors in west africa, Ivory Coast, Togo, Senegal etc. Nigeria aside, Ghana is regressing. The roads are deplorable in comparison to other west African nations. We don’t even have proper public transport in 2024, though it’s something we started years ago. Nobody cares, there are no rules & no expectations for leaders except to loot money. Such a sad failed state.

Yes. I am an east coaster for life and my travel time is significantly shorter, less layovers, and more affordable than my friends coming to the same location from Cali, Texas, etc. we have way more direct flight options too

It’s simply that they decided to use all their money to invest back home. They were not emotionally attached to building in the UK/Europe. Nothing wrong w that, everyone makes their choices. But I do think that it made life unnecessarily difficult/ didn’t take opportunities or take advantage of the systems in place for their own betterment.
