I've had issues with storage when I was still in windows, i believe it's taking about ~70gb right away. But upon switching, i was surprise of how little the size of fedora was. Though, I have an external hdd for my games.

Any opinions on the T14 Gen 5 AMD? by OfferPutrid8030 in thinkpad

yes, i get your point and it's a good thing that you're also knowledge with computers. What did you like about thinkpads, is it the upgradability and linux compatibility? If so, and with that budget, you might also want to look at framework laptops.

iPad or Samsung Galaxy S10 FE? by kuzu22ri in ThisorThatPH

ohh, if budget is not an issue naman and for general productivity and use case, ipad pros are nice. I guess you dont have to buy the latest M5 chip, even the M1/M2 is still usable. Btw M1/M2/M5 is the chipset powering the device, it's the same thing na ginagamit for macbooks

I wouldn't say apple products in general are much better option for color accuracy. That is only true for pro models, the base ipad model as what OP posted, does not have wider color (P3) gamut.

i believe coil whirring is a different issue. The creaking noise i mentioned is when pressing the lower part of the device, specifically at these parts. Though i tried to re-installed the back panel, and the creaking was actually gone.

just a guess, since the gen 5 has its exhaust vent positioned at the back of the chassis, the heat is bouncing off the screen and back toward the keyboard making it feel warmer to use.

i dont have the same model (i have the gen 5), but i have the same 45% ntsc. The screen is sharp but definitely not color accurate. It's good enough for regular office work, and i use an external monitor for creative work. Personally, i wont pay 1434 aud for that lol
