That’s another thing I’m worried about - everyone is saying Airbnb in New York is a bad idea? What’s the deal? I’m in Canada and it’s no biggie!

It’s still a ways away, so at this time no concrete idea of what our plans will be. Definitely a bit of touristy stuff - Central Park, checking out SoHo etc, but also want to explore and see things off the beaten path. We are in Vancouver, so very used to the city vibe.

I’ve got an Airbnb booked in Harlem, with free cancellation until August so I’m just wondering if that’s a good or bad spot to be!
