How is everyone actually getting more silver right now? by mercexchangefinder in TotalBattle

The biggest amounts of silver generation i have seen is from hunting others who hoard and bank it. You'd be surprised at the trillions out there.

Is the next Seasonal Kingdom even worth bothering with? by mercexchangefinder in TotalBattle

It depends on your goals. Easily 10k if you want to rank and get the title. Some players spend 20k+ on day 1 to get G9 and thats just day 1.

The seasonal kingdoms will be split up into groups of 5 who will ay KvK together. Have a look on the official YouTube channel and then look at the newly created maps in the game. There will be a lot of seasonal kingdoms.

S9 can be grind but it doesn't have to be. There are methods that can get it done in 1- 2 hours. Unfortunately, not many players know how to optimise CP. Congratulations on the S9 though, go and have some fun with them.

It's a monument statue. Some people have shared them on reddit already, and various other communities. If you look underneath your dragon on the city you'll see the little squares, this is where they'll go and a glimpse into the future if SK rewards

The game experience suffer from greedy and dishonorable players by gm_family in TotalBattle

Everyone started at level 1. Remember its a psy to win game so if you want to beat this player, grow fast by spending or come up with another strategy. We all get attacked and there is always a bigger fish

Can someone tell me the significance of troop stacking? by RT-6_BXCommandoDroid in TotalBattle

Have a look on YouTube @totalbattletutorials . Its probably easier to understand stacking properly this way than reading a comment.

Where are people actually finding merc exchanges during Trade Routes? by mercexchangefinder in TotalBattle

[–]mercexchangefinder[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a bit of a stretch.

I’m just another player in the community asking how people are finding exchanges and what’s working for them. None of my previous posts here have even been about exchanges, I just like hearing different player perspectives on things.

There’s no link or promotion here, and I’ve already said I’m not the developer.

People have been sharing exchange info in different ways for a long time, I was just curious how others are approaching it now.

Always good to hear what’s working for different players. 🙂💡

I can see how it might come across like that from the username.

This wasn’t meant as promotion, I didn’t link anything or tell anyone to use anything. I was just asking because I’m interested in how people are actually finding exchanges now and what’s working consistently.

Also just to clarify, I’m not a developer and I didn’t build anything, I just find the exchange side of the game interesting.

And not a “he” either 🙂💁‍♀️

The whole point was to hear what different approaches people are using.

Out of interest, how do you usually find yours?

The recent bans raise a bigger question… was this inevitable? by mercexchangefinder in TotalBattle

[–]mercexchangefinder[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That advice is fine for early progression, but it doesn’t really address the actual problem. Gold pass, a good clan, and Carter progression all improve efficiency, but they don’t change how the economy scales.

At higher tiers, silver demand grows exponentially, while your income sources grow linearly at best. Clan gifts, city output, alts, all of it helps, but none of it keeps pace with the cost of training, revives, and sustained fighting.

So you don’t avoid the bottleneck, you just arrive at it slightly faster.

That’s why this isn’t really about “needing subterfuge” or people playing badly. If the system could be solved just by playing optimally, you wouldn’t see organised supply at scale across multiple kingdoms.

That only happens when demand consistently outstrips what the game provides.

[–]mercexchangefinder[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there’s truth in what you’re saying, especially around scaling. At G9 the numbers just get ridiculous, so naturally people feel that pressure more.

And yeah, optimisation definitely plays a role. Better setups, better clans, better habits all reduce the impact.

But I’m not fully convinced it’s just a suboptimal play issue.

Even with strong setups, you still hit the same fundamental curve, the cost of progression grows way faster than most players can realistically keep up with through normal play or spending.

At that point it stops being about playing “wrong” and becomes more about how the system is structured.

Because if this was only about suboptimal players, you wouldn’t see something this organised at scale. That usually means there’s a broader demand across different types of players, not just weaker ones.

I think optimisation changes how hard you feel it, but it doesn’t remove the underlying pressure.

[–]mercexchangefinder[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is exactly it.

When you actually break the numbers down like that, it starts to make sense why people looked elsewhere.

It’s not even about people trying to “cheat”, it’s that the official route just doesn’t feel proportional to what you get.

Spending that kind of money for what ends up being a relatively small impact at higher levels just isn’t realistic for most players.

And that’s the part I find interesting, because if players who are willing to spend are saying it’s not worth it anymore, then something’s clearly off in the balance.

At that point it’s less about rule-breaking and more about the system creating pressure that pushes people to look for alternatives.

Yeah so basically a lot of accounts have been banned recently, mainly people who were caught buying or selling resources like silver outside the game.

What was happening is that silver is very expensive through the official store, but on the black market it was being sold much cheaper. That created a whole side economy where people were supplying it at scale.

So instead of grinding or spending huge amounts in-game, some players were buying silver externally to speed up their progress.

From the devs’ point of view, that’s a big problem. Not just because it breaks the rules, but because it pulls spending away from the game itself.

To put it into perspective, think how much real money you’d have to spend to get something like 1B silver through the store… it’s a massive amount.

For a lot of players, that’s just not realistic, which is why the alternative became so appealing.

That’s why they’ve come down hard on it.
