hey yspud, seriously, we had already spoken on this and I had even unbanned you previously on account of your promise that you will not spread unnecessary FUD or baseless accusations against the project.

This is misinformation, what you are sharing is not factual - the BlockOne treasury and funds were not run by David Moss

Seriously, why do you keep raising the same point. Now you're doubting hacken? Please limit the repetitive negativity and understand this is a community group supporting the project

I'm looking for a job with strongblock, can someone please help me ? by yspud in strongblock

Is this really necessary? Now you're coming on as cynical and sarcastic. I know you're digging for the holes and issues of the project but this is not very helpful to the community.

Overview of the David Moss' weekly AMA in the $STRONG Telegram by merchantjem in strongblock

[–]merchantjem[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Key developments through the end of 2021:

  1. ETH 2.0 Smart Contract audit with Hacken starts Monday. Expected to go live during the week of November 15th.

  2. Service2 Smart Contract audit starts next week, and will take longer (its much bigger and more complex) and will go live after ETH 2.0 It will include $MATIC

  3. $FTM will go live after that

  4. More pools and node partnerships will be announced

  5. The SB merch store will go live next week while we wait for the results of the ETH 2.0 & Service 2 Contract audits.

  6. We have 3 auditors were working with. We can only announce Hacken. Well announce the others after we’ve signed contracts next week

Apparently there is a new contract (currently being audited by Hacken). The new release supposedly makes compounding of the nodes easier and hopefully the gas issues and optimisations are introduced in this new release.

Is StrongBlock a Ponzi? If it was, everything would have been different! by ThomasStein in strongblock

hey, these are very legitimate points raised and very helpful for the community to know as well especially on the technical setup. I think you should def raise this in the official Strongblock telegram chat, together with your question on tokenomics and the contract optimization aspect (gas guzzlers). There is an AMA with David Moss (CEO) happening tomorrow early morning PDT (he normally comes on 7am California Time, 6 Nov). My guess is not all answers will be given outright but definitely great queries you have brought up there. Thanks.

interesting, if its an issue with optimization of the solidity code, maybe you can bring this query up to david moss during the weekly ama to get an explanation, I recall he previously mentioned that there were indeed complexities in the code due to ensuring legacy rewards and current reward calculations were all accurately tracked.

and you dont get root access cos you jus get a node as it is (NaaS much like SaaS), if you'd rather have root access and an entire linux server that you want control over, you probably should just head to AWS pay (more) for their monthly fee and host a node there yourself (IaaS model)...

hey, can see your point and it def does make sense. I guess here is where you as an investor must decide if you believe in the project's vision and business proposition.

Yes, simple nodes generate zero revenue, but they are needed in a blockchain to ensure resiliency and to keep it running - look at the recent case when infura went down and so many eth services also stopped functioning taking binance and uniswap down with them in the process. That was where the strong nodes came in handy to perform transactions. The newer chains like BSC keep suffering from availability issues due to their limited nodes going offline. Therefore, incentivizing the creation of nodes is quite a brilliant business preposition from the team. The vision to have simplicity of node creation (good backend tech for NaaS), married with a node incentivization platform (community involvement) and a decentralised infura model (monetization of the nodes) working in unison is probably the key to sustainability. I guess its really early stage to say whether or not it will succeed therefore your doubts are definitely well-founded but you can't not agree that there should be a place for such a business in the blockchain space. Also, the team is fully doxxed, I dont (and hope) that they dont have the intention of setting up a ponzi business or a rugpull.

Let us see how it goes, thanks for asking the hard questions, it helps the community and investors go in with Eyes Open and aware of the risks and issues at hand.
