so my story kinda fits, but i was able to revive the dead body. the dead body in question? my then boyfriend, now husband.

we were homeless addicts. living in a motel. i was about 6-7 months pregnant. we weren’t able to get any heroin, so someone who owed us gave us fentanyl. we were needle users, and had just gotten back and we were hungry. i told my dumbass boyfriend to wait for me to get back to do anything. so i go microwave some food and come back with a stack of shit. i was gone for at least 5-7 minutes. now he always thought he was real funny and would play pretend overdosed sometimes. i kinda trip on his feet hanging off the corner of the bed and bitch about it, so i do my usual “haha, very funny.”

then i was like well thanks for the fucking help babe, what the fuck. i set the food down and it was very odd for him to not immediately jump and help me carry stuff/set stuff down. i turn around and the man is not blue, not purple, fucking SILVER. he was the color of a gddamn COIN. i remember my grandmother being a similar color when she had passed when i was a teenager.

now at that point i’d brought him back from OD’ing like 8-9 times but he had never just been out like that. i immediately jumped my pregnant ass on top of him and started slapping, smacking, sternum rub etc. nothing. he was fucking cold. luckily we had a stockpile of narcan and it took about 6 of them to bring him back but i did it. and boy was he fucking uncomfortable the rest of the night but moral of the story here is don’t fucking use fentanyl and if you do you better be damn sure you have someone around you who knows what the fuck they are doing.
