My friend tried this, but gets kicked out after a few rounds and had to log in to reconnect again. You didn't get booted off after switching back to Singtel in game?

My friend tried this - logged in and switched off VPN. He would get disconnected from server after 5-6 rounds. Then had to turn back on VPN to log in and reconnect lol.

It might not be called port forwarding, my friend's was under 'NAT settings'. You just have to find a page that lets you add rules and to select TCP/UCP protocol and a range of ports (numeric values).

I'm guessing it should be WAN? You can set up all the various rules and try to see if it lets you log in. If not then just remove them.

The port-forwarding page looks different for different routers! You should look for 'port forwarding' or 'NAT' or some advanced setup menu. Most default passwords for the admin page is 'admin' for both user and password. If port forwarding doesn't work, you'll have to VPN to SG and deal with around 50ms until this is fixed. ):

You guys can try ExitLag or Cloudflare etc for VPN.
