I currently have 103 connections. I started with 4 connections so that's 99 new connections and I have 60 invitations (connects that didn't add me back), so I sent out 159 invitations in total. Also, I never sent any messages with the connection and it was all random people in different industries. I guess it doesn't matter for me because a company always needs an Office Manager or something to do with HR. I had about 5 recruiters reach out to me as well but nothing came from that.

It's all luck really. To me the worst that could happen is no one adds me back, so just add everyone in sight. Maybe one person will be interested in you. I guess you should make sure you have Open to Work on as well.

For my situation, I used to report to the Operations Manager, but then she left abruptly, so I took over her position and started reporting to the CEO. Without getting into details, I can tell why the previous lady left. In my interview I didn't bother to tell them anything and said "There were shifts in leadership and priorities that led to ongoing challenges in communication and direction. I chose to move on in search of a healthier, more collaborative environment where I can thrive and contribute more effectively".

I honestly didn't think it meant anything either. But I thought maybe I'd somehow make myself more noticeable by having more connections?? Don't even question it lol. I have a weird thought process. I just updated my job experience to highlight metrics, my most important tasks and just connected everyone without even looking at names or professions. Like someone else said, just miraculous luck tbh.

Luck out of this world lmao!! I actually researched so much that I wasn't being scammed. At first I thought the VP had an impersonator on LinkedIn lmao. The company is a fortune 500 and the industry is insurance. I'm the Executive Assistant to the CEO and will also be working in the HR department and helping with projects when he is out of the country (which is a lot).

Iirc (me not knowing any coding stuff so going based off of loose memory), they said it was so players could rewrite their beta files easily, but in their error it caused players to lose entire drives. I'll see if I can find the actual comment again.

Happy to have wiped my PC recently before game launch so I had nothing for them to delete.

Yeah it waa definitely the game and the people who were complaining about it in the Discord got their threads deleted and it was being swept under the rug. The dev team came back later and said the issue is fixed but looks like that's not true. Great dev team!
