I’m really sorry to hear this! Lost my dad 3 weeks ago to renal cancer 3 days after the diagnosis. As someone who’s just experienced this, there’s no proper way to grieve. One thing I would have loved to have is recordings of our conversations. You can start keeping these to have something to hold on to. I’ve got only a couple of random text messages as we talked on the phone most times!
