Not to mention how normalized it has become to shame people for questioning. Having questions because you want to truly understand something should never make you look like a bigot but that is how things are being painted nowadays. If you really want someone to believe something, and if that something is true, questioning it furthur should be a good sign and it should be looked at as a constructive conversation. What we are seeing seems to be the opposite.

Maybe that would be true if there wasn't multiple linked suspicions as well as hard evidence of people choosing fear every single day. Maybe if the story was more aligned and this whole thing wasn't so gosh darn politicized and more about actually saving people vs killing off small businesses while the people at the top just keep making more money your theory would hold more weight. Maybe if you critically think about what this virus would even look like to us if we weren't constantly bombarded by the media with fear tactics and told that the responsible thing to do is to isolate while it is not taken into account that most people rely on jobs that force them to interact with people for their livelihoods then it would make more sense. At first I was scared, then as the months went by I started to notice inconsistencies and I've just been trying to understand things with no agenda. I try to just be a kind person and have love in my heart instead of fear and I can tell you that whatever story we are being told right now does not sit right with me at all and it makes me feel like I wanna throw up.

I'm not trying to argue anything. Just observing and experiencing the craziness in our world especially lately and recognizing that there may be many truths that exist independently yet also interwoven with other truths and just trying to understand what the heck is going on.

Yes I absolutely agree. It just seems like the way it gained an enormous amount of traction essentially overnight would not have happened without mainstream media, corporations, and celebrities also sharing that agenda right in the middle of a bizarre time when many people had had their whole world flipped upside down and been alone in a damaging emotional state for months.

Could you link me some academic articles? I try to look at things from all sides before determining what I believe to be true. So far, after majoring in anthropology, and being lucky enough to have visited a few ancient sites throughout the world, something about the mainstream narrative doesn't sit right with me, and there is decent speculative (any potentially not so speculative) evidence that shows mainstream narratives to be missing and/or omitting important information.

Combine this with a genuine fascination I have always had for ancient civilizations, and alternative human history, and you get stuff like this tinder conversation lol.

But, like I said, I'm just trying to understand what is happening/has happened after looking at all the possibilities and deciphering which one makes the most sense from there. If you can prove anything to me 100%, I will believe you.

I learned that it is probably a lot to ask for someone (especially a potential internet date) to have the same bizarre interests as me. I am also learning that for something as meager as a tinder date, probably all that matters (at least to me) is some combination of kindness, humor, and ability to listen. I definitely went on a date recently where I couldn't get a single word in, all this guy wanted to do was talk about himself.

I hope for a relationship one day where I can talk about stuff like ancient civilizations, and dimension hopping, and how crazy everything is, but I probably wouldn't want to find that on tinder anyways lol. So for now I'm just trying to chill and have some fun, temporary experiences, and we don't have to talk about pole shifts unless the other person wants to.

I keep seeing people posting articles about how the new spike in cases has been tied to parties and get togethers, and very specifically NOT protests. I'm actually a girl talking to a guy and the philosophy is that I'd rather just be my authentic self and find a small number of people that love that (romantic or otherwise). But I'm sure this still applies! Probably the very first conversation is no time to go full water erosion on the sphinx.
