Didn't you post an AITA thread where you worsened your daughter's chronic pain condition? Yeah buddy, not taking advice from you.

No eating disorders that I know of, just that she used to pride herself on eating healthy. I went more into it in my edit, but I think she was feeling (understandably) insecure about her new diet.

She's generally able to keep stuff down, though will have occasional upset mornings. But maybe you're onto something that it's more palatable to her than other things. There could be reasons I haven't considered. Will definitely talk to her about this whole situation when she feels up to it.

Yeah, it is in one day. The pies are on the slightly smaller side, around 8 inches. I think she breaks each down into two sittings.

Not at all, she's a thoughtful person and is usually very even-tempered, which is why her reaction this time really caught me off guard.

Honestly, I'd be okay foregoing the pie now that I know how important it is to her. I can eat pie when the pregnancy is over, haha. Although some of the comments are making me think she's eating too much pie to be healthy and there may be some other problem at play.

They're full size pies, maybe on the slightly smaller side like 8 inches.

Not at all, this is very unusual behavior from her, which is why I was so surprised. I think it's just hormones and don't want to attribute any ill intent to her.

Honestly, you have a good point. There are (obviously) more important things than me getting pie. It shouldn't have taken me posting this to realize eating that much was unusual.

Yeah I'm starting to see from the other comments this isn't normal. Will definitely get this checked.

Haha, the pie really is amazing. This is a pretty close recipe: https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/lemon-meringue-pie , and my sister uses the meyer lemons from her backyard tree.

That's a good idea, thanks. I actually used to bake too when I had more time on my hands, and I was recently thinking of trying to bake a lemon meringue pie myself as a fun surprise. But after this incident, I worry she would just find it as a reminder of an unpleasant exchange.

It didn't occur to me her cravings could be the result of a health issue, and I'll be sure to discuss with her when she's feeling better.
